Experienced Diversity Sales Associate Needed

PRIMARY FUNCTION/PURPOSE:


Diversity Enterprises is a full service national Diversity Training and Consulting Firm. We offer on-line training and on-site training for Corporations and Educational Institutions.  We customize learning modules to fit a company’s current (LMS) Learning Management System. We seek an experienced Diversity Sales Associate. This position is responsible for developing and implementing agreed upon marketing plan which will the business goals of expanding customer base. The Sales Associate will work within the sales and support teams to achieve customer satisfaction and revenue generation in line with the vision and values of Diversity Enterprises.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the sales of professional online training programs tailored exclusively to companies and educational institutions seeking diversity training.                  
  • Demonstrates technical selling skills and product knowledge in all areas listed above that allows Sales Associate to give effective presentation to potential clients.
  • Complete understanding of pricing and proposal models.
  • Demonstrates the ability to carry on a business conversation with business owners and decision makers.
  • Consults with various businesses and makes recommendations to prospects and clients of the various solutions the company offers to their business issues.
  • Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face meetings, cold calling business owners, direct mail, email, and networking.
  • Assists in the implementation of company marketing plans as needed.
  • Responsible for sourcing and developing client relationships and referrals.
  • Maintains accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities within their assigned territory.

EXPERIENCE:

  • You must be energetic and a sales “closer”.
  • 2-5 years of experience in sales.
  • Strong understanding of e-learning modules and market dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel and work with a national team of professionals.
  • Proven ability to exceed sales quotas.
  • Must have a positive mental attitude
  • Must be a creative thinker.
